What is the experience of being an intern?

 Here's My Experience.

Waddup! Are you curious about the internship experience? Or what should be done as an intern status? Orrrr what benefits can be taken from the internship system? I will give you my internship experience as an apprentice.

Heya! lemme to introduce myself, my name is Ardhana Sarwana as a building engineering student of SMKN 4 Semarang who is in 12th grade DPIB-2. Before that, I want to tell you something about "What is the meaning of an internship?" An internship is an activity that provides work experience for Students. The work experience I gained during my internship provided many new insights as a student in the world of work and became more familiar with the world of competition. Following my passion as a building engineering student, I interned in the building design modeling industry for a period of 6 months, starting from July 6 to December 29. PT. Pola Dwipa is the place where I interned, according to the map, the place was located at St. Dr. Wahidin No. 165-167, Kaliwiru, Candisari District, Semarang City, Central Java.

I am interested in doing internship activities at PT. Pola Dwipa pattern because I want to improve the quality of understanding a building's construction. During my internship, I have had the opportunity to be involved in construction management which provided many valuable lessons that I could not get in the classroom, Starting from the placement of the foundation and determining the roofline in a residential building and continuing with the calculation of building wall columns, cast beam calculations, and many other things that I have learned through the use of Software such as, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vray, Enscape. PT. Pola Dwipa has many work divisions including architecture, civil construction, construction supervision/management, studio/cad / 3d, budget planning, electrical mechanics, general personnel / eproc, engineering administration, and finally accounting / finance. With this quite a lot of work divisions, it makes it easier for me to ask more specific things that adjust to the divisions they do, usually I often ask about mechanical, electrical, and calculations in the category of structural drawings, with this I can get new scientific things.

There are several moments that I will not be able to forget, namely when I had the opportunity to take part in a competition, namely "USM Engineering Fair 2023", PT. Pola Dwipa Pattern Prepares 10 Students and one of them was me, we always practice for approximately 2 weeks before the competition starts. We always practice with the speed of thinking, hand movements, and accuracy that is limited by time, the first thing we do is preparation, We are given a piece of paper containing a house plan, and after that, the practice starts with speed settings, then a floor plan, after that it appears from the cut of the house, and the last one looks at the façade of the house within 3 hours. On the day the match started All of us were really abitious and want to win so much. well yea.. As a result, I lost. With this defeat, But I came to know more and more about the competitive world means.

The last one was me as a ceremonial attendant On August 17, 2023, The role I played was becoming a paskibraka as a flag borer. It's a new thing I've tried before. We always practice after work hours until evening for 5 days. And as a result, I am quite happy with what I achieved as my achievement.

An internship in building design modeling gave me a lot of valuable experience and life lessons. I learned about responsibility, thoroughness, knowledge, and alertness, as well as empathy to help others. I also made many friends here, they came from different schools including SMK 2 Pati, SMK 3 Semarang, SMK 7 Semarang, SMK 2 Kendal, SMK 2 Purwodadi, SMK Nusantara Kudus, SMK 2 Salatiga, SMK 1 Rembang. My friends and I will always carve out beautiful memories that will be remembered for a lifetime.
